Fumie Nakagawa, 82, of Hilo, died Aug. 12 at her residence. Born in Hilo, she was a retired custodian at Hilo International Airport and member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
Private services were held. Family requests no flowers or monetary gifts.
She is survived by husband, Isao Nakagawa of Hilo; daughter, Joy (Renald) Fukuoka, of Wailuki, Maui; son, Neal (Jen) Nakagawa, of Hilo; brothers, Kiyomi Omoto and Harry (Kathleen) Omoto, both of Hilo; sister, Itsuko Murakami, of Hilo; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
